The original Bounty was built in 1784, and carries a legendary story in the British nautical history. She is the only European tall ship that resides in Hong Kong. Not only does she offer a spectacular venue for special events and a brand-new choice for harbour cruises, she also provides a new attraction to complement the coastal leisure and tourism developments in Discovery Bay, which comprise the largest oceanfront alfresco dining destination in Hong Kong -  D Deck - opened in 2007, the soon-to-open shopping centre and the deluxe convention and resort hotel due to complete in 2011.
